Josh has spent the last 14 years studying financial markets and helping some of the world’s largest institutional investors engineer their portfolios.

‍Josh spent 11 years at Bridgewater Associates in a variety of senior roles related to research, trading, and clients. He was responsible for Bridgewater’s onshore China presence, spending three years living in China to establish offices in Beijing and Shanghai, and playing a central role in designing China-specific investment strategies. Josh led asset allocation research for the firm’s largest clients, including central banks and sovereign wealth funds. He was responsible for teaching and training investment staff of all levels. He also co-managed the trading desk during the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. Josh has a degree in physics from Harvard University.
